Recycling old mobile phones and batteries

ANUGreen advise that mobile phone users can recycle their old mobile phone handsets on campus through the MobileMuster recycling program.  The program collects and recycles mobile phone handsets, batteries and accessories from a network of over 2000 drop off points around Australia.  The plastics, silver, gold and nickel inside the old phones will be recycled into a range of products.

ANUGreen coordinates the collection of the discarded mobiles from three drop-off points around campus:

  • ANUGreen office located at the John Yencken building.
  • God’s Café
  • Co-op Bookshop
