From June 2011, a new 10,000 indial and extension range has been activated for the ANU , 619 7XXXX.
To call an ANU administration extension dial 61 (for Australia) 2 (for national area code) then 612 or 619 for the local prefix plus the five digit extension from the directory.
Example: The ANU switchboard number is 61 2 612 55111.
The Siding Spring Observatory is located at Coonabarabran in North Western New South Wales and externally may be reached by dialling 61 2 68 42 then the four digit extension.(example 6262 - enquiries becomes +61 2 68 42 6262).
The Administration at University Accommodation Services (UAS), the Halls of Residence, Bruce Hall, Toad Hall, Fenner Hall, Burton & Garran Hall, Graduate House, Burgmann College, and Ursula Hall may be contacted externally by dialling +61 2 612 then the five digit extension. (example 59000 becomes +61 2 6125 9000).
No resident telephone information is displayed on the university's web search engine. To contact a resident extension directly, the caller must first be provided with the extension number by the resident themselves.
